Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Gwaide, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Standard appendices and footers

[edit]
"Notes" and "References" with shortened footnote references, in {{harvnb}} style, is used at the end of this article.

I noticed you changed around the referencing style in the article SCBA. Just letting you know: it is perfectly acceptable to use the section headings "Notes", "References", and to use {{harvnb}} - that's the reason these templates exist - to improve reference navigation, and reduce reference clutter. "Reference" and "Bibliography" is also acceptable. The specifications are described in the Wikipedia manual of style, linked here.
