License tagging for Image:DC10 Terrace 2007.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DC10 Terrace 2007.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:06, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

I added a licence to the photograph, {{GFDL-self}}. There are other templates that are acceptable also with some variation of the licence conditions that you may want to explore. __meco 13:21, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Guyster4c, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

With regards to the DC10 image you've uploaded, it must be provided with an acceptable licence. If you have taken it yourself, that's easy. If it can be tagged with a free licence, the best thing would be to upload it to Commons, where all language Wikipedia projects will have access to it. Let me know if I can be of any assistance in this or in other matters

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!  —meco 08:43, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of DC10 (nightclub)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article DC10 (nightclub), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not notable local nightclub. Only link providing possible notability (on its closure) talks about it as one of three.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
