To create something in category space, you need to use a colon, not a semicolon; it should be Category:Foo. Hope that helps. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 18:56, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! It was a typo, and I unthinkingly cut-and-pasted it a few times before I saw what I had done. I've cleaned up everything apart from the misnamed pseudo-category article, but I see that's already been marked for deletion. -- Gubbins^100 (talk) 19:00, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem; that sort of thing happens more than you would think. A lot of times, people forget to put a slash in when making a userspace draft, so you get a page like User:FooTestArticle instead of a User:Foo/TestArticle. It gives people like me (New Page Patrollers) something to do. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 19:06, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Russell King. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
  • Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
  • Not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links

Thank you. For help on what entries should be listed on disambiguation (DAB) pages, please see WP:MOSDAB. Note that there is no article on this businessman, which must be created before listing in the DAB. Please also see help for related to biographies of living people. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Powers of Horror, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Horror and Céline (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
