Notes

Hi - here are the notes I promised:

• There is already an article on sexual harassment and one on sexual assault. The two topics do intersect, but they're separate topics entirely. As such, making a page that has the two of them together would have to be very, very carefully written so that it doesn't conflate the two.

• This looks to focus on the United States rather than in a global view - keep in mind that how sexual harassment and assault are approached will differ depending on the country and culture.

• This is written as more of a response to the topic and has some personal viewpoints in them. As such it's not really neutrally written and uses a very casual tone. Even if the average person would hold a similar viewpoint, it's important to be as neutral as possible.

This needs a lot of work and to be honest, I think it would be better to approach this as something like "Sexual assault and harassment in the United States". The article would have a layout like this:

1. Lead giving a general overview of the topic
2. Section that would go over sexual harassment in the US, primarily through subsections giving general overviews of specific article topics
   1. Sub-section that gives a short, general overview of the article on Sexual harassment in education in the United States
   2. Sub-section that gives a short, general overview of the article on Sexual harassment in the workplace in the United States
3. Section that goes over sexual assault in the US, same premise here
   1. Sub-section giving a short, general overview of Sexual assault in the United States military
   2. Sub-section giving a short, general overview of Sexual abuse in Hollywood
   3. Sub-section giving a short, general overview of Campus sexual assault, focusing on the US aspect
4. Section about preventative efforts and harassment laws such as the Sexual Assault Survivors' Rights Act and Title IX
5. Possibly with another section on notable landmark cases
