Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello Gsaxena1809. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:04, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ye Asangati has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced article about a book of poetry that appears not to meet Wikipedia's standard for notability of articles about books.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Mere Chuninda Geet has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. To be the subject of a Wikipedia article, a topic has to satisfy Wikipedia's notability standards. Response to your comments on my talk page

[edit]

You wrote on my talk page: "You gave a reason saying that the article was created only because he's my gandfather." That's simply not true. Here is what I actually wrote:

Unreferenced article about a book of poetry. No indication that this book is notable and specifically no evidence it meets WP:NBOOK. Google searching throws up a few mentions, but no obvious reliable sources. This is one of a set of articles by the same author that suffer from the same problems - they are evidently about the works of the author's grandfather and are here to help the author write an article about his grandfather.

I suggested the article be deleted because it was unreferenced and does not meet Wikipedia's standard for notability of books. When I wrote that your articles are "here to help the author write an article about his grandfather." that was a direct quote of what you wrote. It was not the reason why I suggested the article be deleted and it was not the reason that the article was deleted after a debate. If you can cite reliable sources that show how the subject does meet WP:NBOOK then you can recreate the article. But please be aware that verifiability is a non-negotiable part of Wikipedia's rules. This means you must have reliable sources in the article. Merely asserting that the article is notable is not enough. Good luck, Sparthorse (talk) 21:55, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
