Socking

[edit]

Stanovc, will you please just stop creating more sockpuppets? You are blocked. If you wish to again become part of this project, you need to respect the rules. If you want to edit constructively, then by all means make an unblock request from your old account, addressing the reasons for the original block. Just creating one throwaway sockpuppet after the other will not help you. Fut.Perf. 21:46, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I know I have edited some nonconstructive articles in the past but that belongs in the past and now I am more than capable of producing work of my own which would by of high quality

Decline reason:

This is not relevant to the reason for the block of this account, which is that you are the same person as User:Stanovc, a blocked account. It's difficult to get unblocked after you've used sockpuppet accounts, because pretending to be someone else is dishonest, and so it's difficult to find people who will believe you when you promise to edit appropriately. In addition, your block appears to do with repeated copyright violation, which is against the law, not "editing some nonconstructive articles." I don't see any path to unblocking for a person who is using sockpuppets to avoid a block but doesn't understand the reason for that block, and thus will be unable to solve the problem in the future. However, if at some future time you do solve the problem that made your block necessary, don't create a new account- instead, request unblock of your original account. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
