Mahidpur/Mehidpur

[edit]

Hey there. I just realized you're simply trying to rename the article, but we've gone and made a mess of it. Copy and paste moves ruin the attribution for the article and aren't usually allowed because they conflict with our copyright license. Please bring up a proposed move on the Mahidpur talk page to see if we can get some more eyes on the topic. Ishdarian 15:55, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at it, but there were no substantial changes. Please stop. I'm going to try and get a hold of an admin to take a look at this. It's a content dispute and I'm at my third revert, so I'm not going to revert you, but you've broken several pages right now and some may need to be deleted. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:55, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Grv10india. I noticed that you created a new article, Mehidpur City. The article is just as identical as another page, Mahidpur. If you compare the two of them, they are mostly similar, except your page does not have the 'Bibliography' section. We can actually redirect your page to Mahidpur. If you do not want your page to be redirected, you can modify completely your article to make it look differently from Mahidpur. You can move your page to 'Mahidpur Road' and change the article content completely. Thanks. Jianhui67 talkcontribs 07:33, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dey subrata. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. You edit here 1 was reverted for NPOV, you again everted the edit here 2. Please refrain from edit war, which may lead to get blocked. Multiple members of ABVP were involved, the article is about 5 January attack, not about 1-4 January incidents. So, please don't add any NPOV material or remove anything out of own perception.Dey subrata (talk) 23:23, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
