Tenjho Tenge

[edit]

Hirohiko and Nokimi articles would be very short since they have been in 3 or 4 chapters, but they will most likely play a pivotal role in the plot. So creating an article would be fine with me. I'm almost positive Hirohiko is male by the way the character talks, dress, and the build. Also, so far he has no open his eyes, but most likely his eyes are like his ancestor's which had no pupils or irises. However, I think he could see. Personally I'm looking out for a teenager with the last name of Wani. This would complete the set of the 12 founding familes. Lately I have been fooling with the idea of adding Hitomi Koumikawa to the list of characters. What stops me is that in the storyline she is nothing more than Nokimi's puppet. Just to thanks the great work in Tenjho Tenge! Duane543 was alone in that XP I will try to help now (I used to edit there before, now I have access to TT manga again). - Access Timeco 19:10, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey I noticed that in the manga after the fight with Shin ,Mitsuomi was crying and they had the paramedics come in why didn't they show this in the anime? it wasn't graphic or anything,oh and if anyone has that pic may it see it?--Cojin 21:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my bad I guess I read it to fast.--Cojin 22:37, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am still getting the manga again, so I can't see past chapters yet. But are you sure about "Souichiro and F" thing? I'm confuse, now o.O
And about the members, there is an image on chapter 60 (I've got this one already XP just 'cause is Mataza one XP) and you can see there an image of F around Mitsuomi: only six guys (the one already unknown is probable the Wani leader, I think).
About Noriko being a Red Feathers, I don't doubt. But I still think she is not a "F".
About characters with an article. No... I think we are good with those ones. And... I don't think we have enough info about Hiro and the girl yet, but...
Oh, and something I remembered. Mataza's name: Jushi. It was said in manga? - Access Timeco 23:00, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey I just wanted to say thanks for treating with so much respect on this .Hack wikia I got treated like crap for asking simple questions.--Cojin 04:15, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah it is kinda hard to find someone who knows so much about Tenjo Tenge, thanks though.--Cojin 04:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--First: sorry if this message will be hard to understand, my english is not great XP--
Yeah, you are right! I don't know why I was so sure about F being White Feathers, then o.O
Oh well... I will make a change in the order there, then, and create the "Main Antagonists" area.
Since there is a chance that Noriko is the sixth F, I was wrong stating that she wasn't a member -__- but we also can't say that she is on the group, since that was not said.
So, with the Main Antagonists area, she and Kouhaku (that, in fact, is not a F) will have a place to be (and the F, just like de Enforcement Group, can be a sub-area)
Also, about Mitsuiro, I will put she back on the "supporting" since we don't know if she is a part of the Enforcemente group (the paper on ch99 only lists Kabane as a new member, the other names are: Mitsuomi, Emi, Kagurazaka and Bunshichi). - Access Timeco 14:57, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We need to talk about the organization of the List of Tenjho Tenge characters at the Talk page before it turns into an edit war. This also allows other editors to be see it openly without having to search between user talk pages. This will give them a chance to understand the consensus, thus avoiding future problems. (Duane543 16:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Why not add Mitsuiro. The article will grow when she becomes part of the plot again. (Duane543 02:09, 24 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Plot Summary of Tenjho Tenge was nominated for deletion here. Just as I thought would happen.(Duane543 18:27, 28 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Are you really surprised? If you look at your archive messages here, you will see I warned it could happen. It was not just Tenjho Tenge that the plot got deleted, there was also Eureka Seven, Hayate the Combat Butler, Love Hina ect... At least AfD gives editors time to discuss and work things out. Unlike some Wiki Admins that give no forewarning before they do things like delete pics or they follow their own special policies and revert others work on articles that they know little about. Like you said, their are editors you want every little thing cited. It is dumb because you should only have to cite points that are not your own or on wiki to prove your writing the truth. It is not to be used on every little commonsense thing. Where is society going if people can not figure what cat means in the context of a sentence. (Duane543 16:07, 7 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

The reason the bot made those inline comment is to alert other editors that if the change the header it could cause links from other articles (in Tenjho Tenge that are a few) to fail. Tenhjo Images

[edit]

I'll help with the updating rationals. I also feel that the main characters images can be reused that are already used in their own articles can be used on the character list. Also what is your take on getting rid of the text in the talk balloons in the images? (Duane543 16:56, 16 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Please don't remove the non-free reduce tag. The these images are too big and have to be rescaled for fair use. This is so the images don't hinders the production and distribution of series, and/or related products and/or merchandise of the copyright owners. All the tag does is alert editors to make that the images need to be smaller. This tag also alerts editors like Pekaje, who help in resizing the images (I know from experience that Pekaje does a good job). As long as their is a decent rational, I don't believe they are in any danger of being removed. (Duane543 00:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]
All Tenjho Tenge images have fair use rationals. All is left is to reduce some of the bigger images and remove the text, but they can more then like be done when you have time. (Duane543 03:33, 21 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I found out the 109 was out because I had to check to be on some made up family some IP created at the main article. Personally I have not seen it as well as 108, only the text for 108. I image Tenhjo Tenge is getting towards the end of the series and that why the releases are coming earlier. (Duane543 02:17, 24 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Grimjaw, please edit tone down your comments made at the Talk:Tenjho Tenge page (mostly your use of the word fag because it can be seen as a personal attack). The editor using IP 201.249.227.116 most likely will never see it anyways. (Duane543 (talk) 17:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Thank you for toning it down, but your missed the word faggotry in the header. Anyhow I finally got around to looking at 108 & 109. I agree with you that in the Feudal flashback that the character is Senhime who picked up Reiki after Shōjō dropped it. Did you understand the statement made by Hirohiko made to Souichiro/Sōhaku about taking care of his family 400 years ago, because I didn't. (Duane543 (talk) 17:37, 21 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]
My theory about his statement is that Myouun Kabane death was faked and his consciousness has been has been transfered into the each one of the Kabane family heads through his eye although his consciousness is dormant most of the time. This explains why Hirohiko took out his eye when he became the head (to make room for Myouun's) and this also would explain the jump in power (Hirohiko told Mitsuiro when they were children that he had to the ceremony (to take out his eye) because he was too weak.) In order to do this Sōhaku had to be involved. If true, the statement makes sense because it was Myouun (in Hirohiko) thanking Sōhaku (in Souichiro) for keeping him around for so long. That is a little messed up. Also what I gathered from 109 is that Aya considers Souichiro the last piece of the puzzle, but first Masataka has to release him from the chains on fate(I.E. Sōhaku control). As for chapter 110, I have not seen it, but it seem Oh! Great has a lot more story to tell considering all the lose ends in the plot. (Duane543 (talk) 16:43, 22 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Translated Chapter 110 is out. (Duane543 (talk) 03:22, 25 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Masataka will break the wheel, but I don't think Aya will end up with him. She will only a "weapon" for him. The only way I see it happening is if Souichiro dies. All the story's foreshadowing points at Aya ending up with Souichiro. Also it seems Souichiro does not fight her advances like he did in the past. I remove your statements in the Maya article about Reiki awaking the Amaterasu Dragon's Gate. Right now it is a guess. I think Maya always had the Amaterasu Dragon, but the mark was not their because she could not control it (Senhime need a great barrier to control hers). It seem like some other characters knew about it like Shin, Nokimi, and most likely her father. Also if Reiki was the cause the awakening of her power, why did it take so long? I'm not saying it was not a factor, but we should leave guesses out of the articles. I see that you added Sakon Shima character to the character list. I'm fine with it, but it seemed premature considering he so far has just appeared in the newest chapter. (Duane543 (talk) 17:50, 25 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Main Tenjho Tenge article

[edit]

I'm trying to upgrade the main article to GA status. If you want to help out I will be doing most of the work in my sandbox. I image it will designed in a similar way as the Suzuka (manga) article. (Duane543 01:36, 2 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Hey, Grimjaw, How do you feel Tenjho Tenge's main article possibly getting to GA status. I only ask because GA might cause problems later on in the form of some editor(s) having a problem with the character articles revealing some plot. I would also like your opinion on what to do with the The Rising Phoenix (12 Founding Families) and the Nature of Chakra (Dragon's Gate) sections of the main article because the main article is getting bigger and the these section no longer work well with the rest of the article. Also what do you think about changing some names to how they appear in the offical English manga and anime, such as the "Enforcement Group" to "Executive Council". Lastly when you have time, please remove the black bar the Sohaku image that Cojin recently posted. (Duane543 (talk) 22:12, 6 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Your insistence on violating our policies

[edit]

If you continue to force images back into List of characters in Tenjho Tenge against policy I will recommend you be blocked. Your stated intent to revert as much as these images are removed is revert warring. This will stop. --Hammersoft (talk) 00:04, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning

[edit]

Regardless of whether you're right or wrong in the content dispute about images, your behaviour is unacceptable. Your stated threat to continue reverting is disruptive as your behaviour would violate Wikipedia:Edit war, and the gross incivility in this comment is not acceptable in a collaborative encyclopedia. Please desist this behaviour, especially the edit warring or I will be forced to block you. Thanks, Daniel 00:18, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

my comment was to another user, not to hammersoft. freedom of speech. regardless the war was started by hammersoft feel free to read the talk page on the article we are "warring" about. i tried to discuss it and was responded to with, change it and i revert it.--Grimjaw (talk) 00:20, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, there is no right to freedom of speech on Wikipedia. Secondly, whether you're attacking someone using incivil language to their face or in a discussion with another user is irrelevant, as everything on Wikipedia can be viewed by anyone. Again, please desist the attacks, incivility and the revert warring immediately. Daniel 00:22, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

attacks were ceased after i spoke to duane...thats the only attack i made on hammersoft. again hammersoft decided it should be a war, its totally un fair that i ask him if certain things would be acceptable i get a change it and i revert it in response and i'm viewed as the douchebag starting a war. i didn't even change anything in the article until after my attempts to talk it out were met with a revert war challenge --Grimjaw (talk) 00:25, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grimjaw, Don't get your self blocked because of that sock puppet, Hammersoft. I'm going to undo your changes so you don't get blocked. Please don't revert back. I will send another message soon. (Duane543 (talk) 02:12, 4 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

I understand that editing at wiki is getting to point that it is not fun because a few editors confuse policies with guidelines. I was close to quiting myself. Maybe we should have taken that one editor advice (I don't remember which talk page it was on) and created a Tenjho Tenge wikia. Which at times makes one think that their is a conspiracy to have the fiction articles migrate from a nonprofit wiki to a profit wikia. Considering that wiki's most popular articles are either sex or fiction (see [1]). That is beside the point, I think we should try what the editors of Bleach did on the List of Bleach characters. They used group pics as much as possible (even if their were only two characters in the image). I say let Tenjho Tenge do the same. I will look for the group pics. Here are some of the locations of the pics that I though might work. For "F" Volume 9 page 120-121 (Finding a image of Sōhaku Kago & Noriko Shindayuu Inue together should be easy), the Juken Club- Chapter 66 cover, ect... What do you think? As for the name changes, I did it to have the names closer to the English translations used in the CMX manga or anime. Also when I checked 執行部会 (aka enforcement group) myself on a translation program, it was translated as 執行部 = executive(s) and 会 = meeting; assembly; party; association; club. This was all done to have the main article a chance at GA rating, which it is now nominated. Also, check out this userbox, I believe it says everything you are feeling right now.(Duane543 (talk) 03:02, 4 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]
I say we try. It shows others that are trying to compromise. This also may attract editors that are more moderate than Hammersoft. (Duane543 (talk) 03:23, 4 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]
If that is not a kick in the nuts!!! Betacommand also war edits and only you get blocked. All this wiki lawyering has drained the fun out editing fiction articles because some outspoken editors expect all articles to be up to at least GA quality. Most of these same editors never add anything to make the articles better, so they have no clue what they are asking out of others. They rather add the missing secondary sources templates and put them up for AFD because it is easier and makes them feel important. Screw that!!! As for the alternative, I'm damned if I am going to start a Wikia article so a company can profit from what editors have done for free. (Duane543 (talk) 02:28, 5 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

yeah beta bullies and incited editwars refusing to talk it out; but standing up for your beliefs and not letting him be a self-appointed admin acting as the nfc-SS means u need to be blocked. sorry i confused wiki for a place that encouraged discussion. hell i get blocked and the recommendation is to talk it out...looks to me like you and me are trying to talk it out and hammersoft and beta just want to edit war. --Grimjaw (talk) 05:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently this line was added to the nfc toward the middle of the page: "The above applies to any enumeration or summary of a group of items related to the article subject (such as a list of people, companies, anime characters, literary or musical works, and so on), regardless of whether the list is in prose, a table, bullet points, contains subsections, or is in any other format. It may be acceptable to include a single image that portrays multiple enumerated elements from the list, or at most two or three separate non-free images portraying items from the list, provided that all other non-free considerations are met." Right where no one can see unless they are looking for it. I did not see it, but Random832 (the admin. that blocked you) did. If Betacommand and Hammersoft cited this there would have been less trouble (even though we would have not liked it). They should have known about it because they more then likely had a hand in the policy change in the first place. Lately wiki has come under the adage "We have to destroy the article to save it". However these editors who have this mentality don't understand that they are also causing editors to migrate to other places or give up. People like that are nothing more then policy pushers and create nothing. Wiki popular now, but how much is it because of Google supporting it. I guess we will see when Google launches Knol. Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Characters of Tenjho Tenge. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Random832 00:56, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

thats bullshit. betacommand broke the 3 revert rule and he isn't blocked. in fact hes blatantely vandalizing the page. he's removing content, refusing to discuss it, based on a rule that the page DOES NOT violate. it is NOT a list its a collection of stub articles, regardless the rule says lists GENERALLY do not meet significance requirements not UNIVERSALLY. thus even if it was a list, and it isn't, his removal is still unjustified since it comes down to the significance rule which most patrons of the article think it passes. only people who don't even follow the series, haven't read it, have no interest in it and don't care about the article insist its insignificant. i'm in the right, betacommand is being a sockpuppet-like vandal who refused to talk it out and chose to make it an edit war. this is total faggotry. --Grimjaw (talk) 01:08, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Requesting an unblock by using invectives and using personal attacks has rarely been successful. This will not be one of those rare successes. — Coren (talk) 01:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

how the hell was that a personal attack? i'm dying to know...he IS a sock puppet. he has a second account called betacommand2, even he admits it. there was no personal attack regardless of my use of curse words. and in the end wiki doesn't even ban profanity so now its even bigger bullshit. the 3RR doesn't apply for nfc right, yeah well it also doesn't apply to vandalism which if u see the edit summaries i felt like i was reverting. for supposedly not being a bureaucracy wiki sure acts exactly like one.

i love that even if betacommand was TOTALLY wrong like not even in the ballpark of being nfc abuse (hypothetically of course), he still wouldn't be blocked for inciting an edit war and blatently refusing to talk it out. i get blocked and it says to resolve it by talking it out etc...yeah he wouldn't even do that, so i was damned if i did, damned if i didn't. now my appeal is rejected apparently cuz i have a foul mouth, which isn't against the rules; and cuz i called a sockpuppet a sockpuppet (gasp a fact on wiki! kill it! kill it!). sorry i should have just kissed ass even when getting the shaft; yeah thats not gonna happen. --Grimjaw (talk) 05:34, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A cat is an animal

[edit]

A cat is known for being a housepet, and under all obviously apparent circumstances it is indeed an animal, and all of the below:

Animalia

Chordata

Mammalia

Carnivora

Felidae

Felis

F. silvestris

F. s. catus

(retrieved from cat, from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) In other words, Animalia Chordata Mammalia Carnivora Felidae Felis silvestris catus. So, from proof right here in Wikipedia, and in the mind of a three year old a cat is indeed an animal —Preceding unsigned comment added by RayquazaDialgaWeird2210 (talkcontribs) 01:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC) [reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
