[edit]Hey, over the past few months, Berig and I have been attempting to assess all the unassessed articles tagged with the Wikiproject banner. This is a very time consuming process and with around a thousand left, I would much appreciate your help. Thanks, ErikTheBikeMan (talk) 16:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

In 2009, WikiProject Years developed a essay for the inclusion of events "recent year" articles.
Important policy discussions took place in January 2009 at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years.

Why the removal of the church in the religion section ?
[edit]Im sorry but there is no explication in a pure view point for removing the image of the Church, so why you remove it ? Mysticshade (talk) 07:08, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Just started the review. Take a look at the GA review page. Wandalstouring (talk) 16:52, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- The issues are possibly difficult to solve within a few days, but take your time, the first GA is often the hardest. Wandalstouring (talk) 17:17, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- OK, but it's the first of your GA I'm reviewing ;) Wandalstouring (talk) 17:48, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Added some comments, but due to an edit conflict with your answer to the previous questions they may seem a bit misplaced. But I really would suggest removing the flags, and take a new and critical look at the sources you're using. All the best&happy editing, Finn Rindahl (talk) 19:33, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Summarizing Ailbhe Mac Shamhráin, The battle of Gen Máma, Dublin, in: Medieval Dublin II (2000) p. 61:
- Historians still debate the location of the battle. There's no archaeological evidence supporting any theory. Wandalstouring (talk) 11:03, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Could you also check citation 19 to add the correct page number. You see, the problem is that, as you can find out from the references, I was using the Greek edition of Read's book, but if you have the original one, it is of course better. Cheers!--Yannismarou (talk) 16:33, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
GA
[edit]I'm pretty sure the preference is that the nomination is removed, so I have removed the article from the nominee list. Feel free to nominate your article when you have the time! Thanks and have a great day (and wikibreak!) CarpetCrawler (talk) 23:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- There are unresolved issues with the battle of Glenmama. Todd is given undue weight, pushing a dismissed theory and the sources need more discussion. Highking is also a very questionable title for a participant who actually never ruled all of Ireland. Wandalstouring (talk) 14:37, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Years
[edit]Greetings! I have been conducting interviews for the WikiProject Report in The Signpost. I would like to interview you for WikiProject Years. Are you interested? --Cryptic C62 · Talk 15:00, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Great! I'll be posting a series of questions at my workspace here. If you don't understand the question or would prefer not to answer it, feel free to add a <!--comment--> to the interview page or leave a note on my talk page. I'd like to have this interview ready for the July 12 edition of the Signpost, so I'll keep posting questions until either that day arrives or we have a good solid interview and I can't think of anything else. Feel free to edit/expand any response at any time. Don't worry too much about formatting, as I can just clean up the whole interview before it gets published. Thanks mate! --Cryptic C62 · Talk 19:45, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! I must admit, I was aware of the existence of WikiProject Years, but, given that most years articles were, as you say, just lists of events, I couldn't really fathom its purpose. I am quite supportive of your aim and will gladly help. Best regards, Constantine ✍ 08:23, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- PS. in case you are not aware of it, I have requested a peer review on the civil war article at WPMILHIST. I would greatly appreciate your opinion. Cheers, Constantine ✍ 11:02, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
