Your RfA

[edit]

Hello there. I noticed that you've create a page to run for adminship. I wanted to let you know, before you go any further, that candidates with less than a year's experience and less than several thousand edits almost always are unsuccessful at requests for adminship on this project. With less than 200 edits, your request is almost guaranteed to be closed as unsuccessful within a few hours. Please consider reading User:Sven Manguard/Failed RfA Advice, which contains a guide as to what the community is looking for in potential admins. Proposed reorganisation of specification data in Melbourne tram articles

[edit]

I've proposed some changes to the was Melbourne tram articles are structured. I want to move much of the specification data out of the infoboxes and into a new section. I've raised a centralised discussion at Talk:Z-class Melbourne tram#Proposed reorganisation of specification data and was wondering if you have an opinion either way. I have also created a mock-up at User:Liamdavies/sandbox. As you've edited in the Melbourne tram area, your input would be appreciated so we can form a consensus, thanks for your time. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Reviewer, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. FunPika 02:39, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

I notice that you scarcely ever use edit summaries. It really is much beter to provide an edit summary for every edit, briefly indicating the nature of teh edit, as it makes it far easier for other editors to see what is going on in th editing of a page, and to track down edits relevant to what they are looking for. Speedy deletion nomination of Youtub

[edit]

Hello Grfr12345,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Youtub for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Lemonmelonsuperstar (talk) 18:48, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Hello, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:31, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Your rfa

Hi Grfr12345: I am not sure whether you realize the RfA has been transcluded. Also, although you have been here for a year, you have very few edits to run for adminship. Are you sure you want to go through with this? Yngvadottir (talk) 19:50, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

RFA

[edit]

Hi. I've closed your RFA because it is immediately apparent that it will not be successful. With 282 edits, and only a handful in the past year, you do not have the requisite experience. More importantly, however, you appear to be using account ZTE908 and passing it off as somebody else, a prohibited practice known as socking. Thanks, Jamesx12345 19:52, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If I really was @ZTE908: then why wouldn't I request myself for adminship with @Grfr12345:? Also, if I was @ZTE908: then why would I request adminship on both accounts at the same time if I didn't want to get banned? Grfr12345 (talk) 09:52, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

These are good questions. Why did you? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 10:43, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Adminship

[edit]

It is not wholly clear to me whether you seriously want to be an admin and fail to understand the due process involved, or if you are just playing around. If you are serious then please take notice that all of your edits remain visible permanently, whether they are blanked out or not, and as part of the RfA process reviewing editors will inspect them. submitting ill-informed applications, having already been advised not to, will significantly hinder any genuine application you make in the future, as will the creation of sockpuppets, for which you are currently blocked. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 10:49, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
