RFC: WMC

[edit]

(William M. Connolley 23:54, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)) I note your comments on the RFC. I'd like to review the edits you think are contentious, but I don't know where they are. Could you list (here will do) which pages you feel particularly aggrieved about and (optionally) any particular diffs. Thank you.

(GregBenson 01:52, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)) -- I placed links in the RFC for everyone to see.

Shouldn't this be part of the same article as Milankovitch cycles? -- Curps 23:11, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps it should, but I found an empty link and decided to start a stub.

Precession in Vietnamese

[edit]

Hello GregBenson,

Could you kind enough to permit me use of your picture Precession and seasons.jpg, that you submitted for use in [1] in the article "Tuế sai" of the [2].Vuong Ngan Ha 04:34, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hi, the Image:Precession starchart.jpg is tagged as unknown and can be deleted from commons. Could you release it as PD or GPDL, please --Jic 22:02, 1 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Could you do the same with Image:Precession and seasons.jpg? Thanks. –Mysid (talk) 07:00, September 12, 2005 (UTC)

Relative Humidity.jpg

[edit]

Hello Greg,

could you clarify the unit "saturation fraction of water" you indicate on the Relative Humidity.jpg. Are you talking about molar fractions, weight percent..? Thanks

The information in Image:SeasonDuration.jpg would be more legible as a text table. (SEWilco 04:32, 11 September 2006 (UTC))[reply]

NowCommons: File:Dewpoint.jpg

[edit]

File:Dewpoint.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Dewpoint.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Dewpoint.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 07:56, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dew point graph

[edit]

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this, but I've spotted your graph on the article on dew points: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Dewpoint.jpg And I was wondering if you had a link to the original data? Or knew where I could find a table of saturation fraction against temperature somewhere else? I can't read the precise values from the graph, and I'm having trouble finding one like it elsewhere. It's not too important, I'm just interested in looking at some real life values and looking at the relationship between them.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
