Hi Greenturtle09, I go to St. Mary's too
this class should be very interesting
I look forward to seeing how you do in it.

The first article that I plan on modifying is on the San Jose Sharks. I plan on modifying it by updating the current roster to include players like Curt Gogol. The second article that I plan on modifying is on ecotourism; I am going to correct the portion of the article on environmental hazards because it is written as a personal essay instead of an encyclopedia. The last article that I plan on changing is on Duchenne muscular dystrophy; I would like to add a picture of how a child affected with the disease gets up.

An example of an NPOV statement in the evolution article is, "Evolution in organisms occurs through changes in heritable traits – particular characteristics of an organism. In humans, for example, eye colour is an inherited characteristic and an individual might inherit the 'brown-eye trait' from one of their parents." This is a great example because it is explaining a major point of view on evolution in an impartial manner. This statement is also cited which makes it an even better example of an NPOV statement.

Citizendium is a fork from the English Wikipedia by its co-founder Larry Sanger. He did it in order to make a better, or in other words, more reliable online encyclopedia that is based on the contributions made by intellectuals.

Our group's name is "The Wiki Cult" and includes myself and rds2, Colorfulsocks, and Ronnie5200. The stub that we plan on modifying and improving is on the Culture of Cameroon. In order to follow the Five Pillars and NPOV I plan on using reliable sources that back up my neutral information.

[edit]

Aloha Greenturtle09. If possible, could you please stop adding an external link to Lake Tahoe. You may have noticed that there aren't many other el's on that page or other articles on wp... there's a reason for that. see policy wp:el thx. --Travis Thurston+ 20:29, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
