Speedy deletion nomination of Panos Kalidis

[edit]

Hello Greekeness,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Panos Kalidis for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 02:48, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Konstantinos Argyros requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hitro talk 22:05, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from Konstantinos Argyros, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Konstantinos Argyros may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • '''Konstantinos Argyros''' ({{lang-el|Κωνσταντίνος Αργυρός}} is a [[Greeks|Greek]] singer, born 21 May 1986, in [[Athens]].<ref>

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 22:29, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Greekeness. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Panos Kalidis, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Panos Kalidis to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, ColonelHenry (talk) 02:09, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
