- Unfortunately, I was not allowed to participate in this discussion.
- It was closed very quickly by a single editor claiming it was "redundant" and then, in bad faith, apparently deleting every single identical map of it without explanation as to why.
- I have instituted a deletion review.
- I do recognize that because I don't know how this works, it will be used against me.
- And this is the problem with wikipedia. It's why bad faith succeeds.
- If you want to act in good faith, please let me know why a map can be deleted for redundancy and then its precursor which existed for several years can be deleted as well.
- And tell me how to participate in my own deletion review, which no one has yet told me how to do.GreekParadise (talk) 21:09, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
Hello,
I have reverted your recent edits on Shebaa Farm. Your changes are not neutral, do not appear to be backed up by the sources used, and seem to be veering towards Wikipedia:Tendentious editing. I would suggest taking your suggested edits to talk to seek consensus for them.
If you think I have made a mistake, do likewise, and please ping me in the thread. Lewisguile (talk) 19:49, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- I do think you've made a mistake. I will say why on the talk page. The article has several factual errors, and the lede does not reflect the body. For example, the claim that Syrian clearly holds this as Syrian territory is simply false...and even more so when it suggests this has long been the Syrian position.GreekParadise (talk) 23:11, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'll check out Shebaa Farms and reply there. To ping someone, you can use the symbol of the person with a plus next to it. It usually appears in the top right. Search for their name and then select them. Hope that helps! Lewisguile (talk) 07:42, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
