Hey, thanks for tackling the reformatting of the InuYasha manga chapters! Are you planning on doing the rest of them? If so, can you go ahead and put them in List of InuYasha chapters instead of those subpages? They need to be gotten rid of anyway. I've already moved over the first 2 groups. Also, while you're doing the clean out, feel free to remove the anime episodes covered. It doesn't belong there and is false, since the anime is based on the manga not the other way around. Collectonian (talk) 00:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Quick question. Any particular reason you are removing the day's from the release dates on the individual volumes? Are they incorrect? Collectonian (talk) 17:29, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- I was going to verify all dates afterwards, but I suppose I can do them at the same time. Grapeofdeath (talk) 17:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, no worries. If you plan to put them in later, that's fine. Just wanted to be sure :) Collectonian (talk) 17:46, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- What do you think would be the best way to put in first and second editions? The first several volumes have to edition with different ISBN. Grapeofdeath (talk) 17:55, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Are there any other differences beyond the ISBNs? Like corrections or edits or the like? Collectonian (talk) 17:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- The covers are different, the size, and the books are now oriented right-to-left. They also have different release dates. Grapeofdeath (talk) 18:04, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oooohhh...in that case, the second edition releases should be used in the table instead of the first, where available, and the lead prose updated to note this. (see the manga section of Ceres, Celestial Legend for an example of the prose. Collectonian (talk) 00:22, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

re "Shan(g)hai"
[edit]Personally, I see our use of rōmaji as the English equivalent of furigana, and think that it should conform to strict transliteration of the kana reading; however, you do bring up a valid point, so I won't stop you from changing it back again. —TangentCube, Dialogues 04:06, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mind keeping it how it is, but I just thought you should know why I did it in the first place. At least the title now has a translation. Grapeofdeath (talk) 17:51, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Do you know how many chapters does the volume 21 of FMA has?4 or 5?Tintor2 (talk) 16:32, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- I won't know until I buy it. I plan on picking it up the Monday it comes out. Grapeofdeath (talk) 22:42, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Are you going to buy the volume 22 of FMA? If thats so, could you then add which will be the chapters featured? Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 22:07, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I will as always. Sorry it took me so long to get a hold of one last time. We had the biggest snow storm here in forty years so shipments for manga were delayed.
- Also, there's going to be a konbini version of the manga published. Perhaps it should be mentioned in the article? Grapeofdeath (talk) 22:09, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- No problem ^_^. Im sure that is worth mentioning (along with a source).Tintor2 (talk) 22:32, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
On ANN?
[edit]Hey Grape, I don't suppose the Shelf Obsessed entry here is you, is it? The collection certainly lines up with what edits of yours I've observed... 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 17:29, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh wow, I haven't been paying attention to ANN lately. I've finally made it onto the site! My shelfs are a lot more full now though as these are old pictures. Grapeofdeath (talk) 23:45, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- LOL, I usually don't read Shelf Life and the other columns (except for Anime News Nina... XD ), so the fact that I caught this is quite interesting. How much more complete is your Black Jack collection, BTW? 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 00:03, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Just a few days ago I received a package from Japan containing the rest of the volumes I needed to complete the back issues. There are still new volumes for new editions coming out in Japan, but at least I'm all caught up. Over 200 volumes. I also received all the back editions of Chi's Sweet Home and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, so I can get started on those lists soon. Grapeofdeath (talk) 02:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yiy, that's a lot... How many series do you have volumes from? 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 19:20, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Almost everything on this page: http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/grapeofdeath The last section is Retail Manga and anything left black there are ones I don't collect. Grapeofdeath (talk) 00:23, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Wow, nice collection! =) Unfortunately, due to money (or rather, lack thereof), my own collection is limited to almost all the back issues of Shonen Jump, but it doesn't stop me from checking out all the manga (and manhwa and manhua, coincidentally) that I can find in my local library system (you can see everything I've read, up-to-date as of about a month ago, at User:Dinoguy1000/Manga). 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 19:12, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- That must have taken forever to put together. I like myanimelist since it's so easy to update it, but it doesn't have all the features that yours does. The only list I've made myself is the one to keep track of all the manga yet to come out: http://thegrapeofdeath.livejournal.com/17278.html You'd be surprised how cheap I've bought some of my manga for. I got the first 17 volumes of Japanese Excel Saga for $5. There are a lot of good deals out there. Grapeofdeath (talk) 22:05, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Nah, it didn't take that long... Once I got the basic layout decided on, it was just a matter of fixing issues as they came up. ;) However, I've recently been considering adding an author column (and somehow linking to searches at http://www.rpls.ws), but I'll probably work on a layout template first to replace all the hardcoded stuff I've got. BTW, going off of one of the things ANN said in that review I originally asked you about, is there any meaning or story behind your username? 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 17:57, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Related with List of Gin Tama chapters
[edit]Just wondering if you have some volumes from Gin Tama. Its chapters list is lacking various chapters from volume 14 to volume 18. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 19:48, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't collect that series. Grapeofdeath (talk) 16:51, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Chapter list
[edit]Hi,
Just to ask you to avoid creating chapters list for series with less than 5 volumes. For List of Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku chapters it isn't much a problem because it's an ongoing series and will eventually have 5 volumes.
Thanks. --KrebMarkt 18:23, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- Is this covered in the guidelines somewhere? I see them created often. Grapeofdeath (talk) 23:38, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
