What are the best ways to master Wikipedia?
[edit]I’ve been an avid reader and lover of Wikipedia for years, but nothing else because I’m somewhat technologically challenged. I’d love a very simple “can’t go wrong” guide to using all of the app’s features, particularly editing so that I can contribute a bit. Is there such a thing? If not, are there other recommendations anyone might suggest? I use an iPhone X with the latest iOS and latest version of the app (both update automatically). Thank you. - Hi Granttarredus, I hope you're doing well. Sorry for only getting to your question after year - I only happened to come across your talk page today, by pure coincidence. I feel like the page Help:Contents might be the guide you were looking for, as it pretty succinctly sums up many of Wikipedia's editing resources. Be warned though - there are a lot of very detailed guides and it's impractical to go through all of them without using up a lot of time, so please read at your leisure.
- If you would like any help in the future, feel free to check out the Teahouse or the Help desk. You can also place
{{Help me}}
on this talk page along with a question, and someone who can help will get in contact with you. Anyways - I hope you have a great day, and wish you happy editing here on Wikipedia! Cheers – Aranya (talk) 11:56, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
Aranya, how generous and kind of you to help me in this way! I want you to know that I appreciate your consideration very, very much, and that I will certainly be making use of the information you’ve given me. So, thank you! I wish you the best of everything.
