Alexander Sandbox
[edit]Hey Goutlaw! Some comments for you about your sandbox article: first off, great start. The introduction could be expanded a bit - make it a full-length paragraph, to summarize the article. You should include date of birth in the intro if you can find it. Make sure your article is clear and understandable, even to someone not at all familiar with the topic area: Wikipedia has a very broad, international audience. For example, I'm Canadian - your government is not "our government", and I don't know what you mean by "grade school" (is that primary school or K-12?) or "reserve national security position". Some parts need a bit of copy-editing - for example, "towns volunteer fire department" should be "town's volunteer fire department". Be very careful to maintain a neutral point of view and encyclopedic tone at all times - phrases like "The impetus was to counter the negative influences on political and social organizations and to penetrate the monopoly the mainstream press had on media" don't quite meet that standard. Regarding citations, are you citing Alexander as the author or the publisher? For the first two, Patriot Post would be the work; "Mark M. Alexander" is the title for the first, "About The Patriot Post" for the second. In both cases, since the site doesn't have a "last changed" date posted, you should include a retrieval date.
