I am researching butter pats: Edwardian/Victorian tiny porcelain plates for butter used as an integral part of a formal table setting. In those days of indulgent eating, there seemed to be a utensil and or dish associated with every form of consumption or disposal.

I subscribe to a newsletter published monthly that has an incredible amount of information focused on pat collecting, as well as the associated porcelain houses past and present.

I have a collection of ~ 3,000, and am waiting to sell them for retirement $$$...not that far away!!

This is my first entry onto W., so I hope there are some readers out there!!
