Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Avtar Gill, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:43, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Shahid Kabeer

[edit]

Hello Gopalpathak1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Shahid Kabeer for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Gopalpathak1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Shahid Kabeer, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You identify yourself as the author of c:File:Shahid.png, a photo which he uses on his Google+ page. This suggests you have a close relationship and a conflict of interest. Notice

The article Devesh Ranjan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet the standards of WP:NACTOR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Devesh Ranjan moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Devesh Ranjan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). It is also unclear if he meets Wikipedia's notability standards for actors I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 18:26, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sources and citation used in Devesh Ranjan article are reliable and appropriate. Please let me know if there are any other improvements to be done to make it available on Wikipedia. Thanks. Gopal Pathak 08:51, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Devesh Ranjan

[edit]

Hello, Gopalpathak1. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Devesh Ranjan".
