A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Goodfellow408. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! →Στc. 10:29, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Never feel foolish!!!!

[edit]

Goodfellow, never feel foolish about contributing. Just because this didn't pan out didn't mean that you did anything bad. You made an article in good faith and it just didn't get the necessary stuff needed to keep it, but that's nothing you should feel bad about. You learned from it and next time you'll do better. It's how all of us on Wikipedia learn. I can guarantee that just about every one of us has made an article or an edit that didn't pass some Wikipedia guideline or another. I don't want you to feel like you did something horribly wrong because you didn't. You made an honest mistake, but hopefully not one that will keep you from continuing to edit!Tokyogirl79 (talk) 18:04, 16 January 2012 (UTC)tokyogirl79[reply]

There's nothing wrong in having an article you write put at AfD and deleted. I assure you, it's happened to everyone. Nobody is going to look at you like you were an idiot for creating an article that got deleted. I hope you continue editing, and that this experience was not too painful. →Στc. 10:38, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
