To repeat the message I left at your IP's talk page:[1]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. (Edit reverted: [2].)

But to further explain things: we tend to stay consistent within articles, particularly in matters of English usage. I'm afraid your version mucks this up. And moreover, it's a decidedly old-fashioned approach to writing acronyms.

You might also wish to look at WP:WHO for guidance on the manual of style as it applies to Doctor Who articles. --Mark H Wilkinson (t, c) 22:47, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
