Minor Edits
[edit]Remember to mark your edits as minor when, but only when, they genuinely are (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one, or vice versa, is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb, is that an edit of a page that consists of spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. [edit]The "MySpace team" is News Corporation's web development section, which makes all of Fox's web sites. This isn't relevant in the article about one of the services they worked on.-- Chris chat edits essays 18:30, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Good point, I was thinking too that the gold editions could be in the discography. But, they should probably go in the "Other" section, shouldn't they? Just because they aren't actual new albums or anything.RoryS89 21:24, 12 October 2006 (UTC)RoryS89
- Yeah, they're awesome live. I saw them for the fourth time last month. And in May, I had the chance to meet Dave Douglas and Matt Thiessen, which was awesome. And the Gold Editions, I put them in the other section. I just linked them to the original versions. If you think there's anything that should be changed, go ahead and say it. There's a reason anyone can edit Wikipedia after all. They seem to fit in the other section. Good idea about putting these in the article.RoryS89 21:07, 13 October 2006 (UTC)RoryS89

- I've had exams at school. Sorry for my absense. I need to get back on stopping the vandalism on the RK page, lol. But isn't there a special block that can be put on a page that has extreme vandalism on it, so that only long-time members can edit it? Oh well, we'll work something out. Anyway, I'm on Christmas break now, so I should be able to spend more time on here now. That should be a good thing I guess.RoryS89 18:59, 18 December 2006 (UTC)RoryS89

[edit]Hey, no worries. I had to figure out why it wasn't alphabetized originally when I saw your edit, and hen I figured out what I did. I was a bit 50-50 on whether to do it by surname or by absolute name, but I figured that if people were looking for their favourite artist, they would likely default to searching by surname. If you think it is unclear, go ahead and revert my revert. I can see both sides to the argument... TheHYPO 05:15, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Can you give me more information on the pamphlet for the Jesse Samek camp so I can cite it? I don't need to see it, if you say it is in there I am fine with that. Title, authors, pages, etc. would be good, any information is great so I can add a citation to the article. Thanks. KnightLago 22:38, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- I saw the mention as you said. I don't need to see any pictures. I would just like to add a citation to the article about the pamphlet. Any info you could provide about it would be great. Thanks! KnightLago 04:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you are receiving this message, you are currently listed as a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Electronic music. We need more active members at Wikipedia:WikiProject Electronic music. So please tell your friends who like electronic music and are willing to put in hours writing about it. If there are any suggestions for features for this Wikiproject I will help out with them and see what I can do. Please add any projects you are working on to the list - I will gladly help out with them as best I can. Since the original project founder has been MIA for 9 months or so, I'm declaring myself pseudo-king and cheerleader of this Wikiproject. Basically, that probably means that I'm just going to do the most work related to this project for now. Album images in discoriagraphy
[edit]Some question has arrison over your addition of album covers to the discriagraphy on the Switchfoot ariticle. If you don't remember doing this it was about 4 months ago. A responce is not required, however if you feel strongly about this, then you are encoureged to say something on the articles talkpage, thanks for your time --T-rex 16:25, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey T-rex, I looked at all the album covers on the Switchfoot page and none of them showed me uploading them. If you could point me in the right direction i'd be more than willing to help. --DJREJECTED 23:17, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think you uploaded them, but you are the one that added them to the Switchfoot page, if you don't remember I'll just assume that it's no big deal... --T-rex 23:25, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I might have added them, what's the question? I know I do do this for main band pages, but very few. --DJREJECTED 23:27, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Someone has requested that they be removed from the article due to fair use concerns and such. As you were the one who added them I figured I'd check in with you before removing them all, but as it stands it looks as if I'll be removing them tomorrow, no big deal --T-rex 23:39, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Fair use concerns? I'm confused, you might need to explain that. If needs be i'll go ahead and remove it...where does it say that it is being asked to be removed? --DJREJECTED 23:46, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:SkilletRebirthing.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:SkilletRebirthing.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. AfD nomination of Real Life (RJ Helton album)
[edit]An editor has nominated Real Life (RJ Helton album), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/R. J. Helton and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Lost Songs Cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Lost Songs Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:12, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Jessesamek.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Jessesamek.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:28, 10 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECU≈talk 17:28, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Jonezetta-Popularity.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Jonezetta-Popularity.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:ScottSather.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
