Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Barack Obama presidential campaign, 2008, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Barack Obama/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you.

Note that the article probation applies to all Obama-related pages. -- Wikidemon (talk) 22:45, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did to Public image of Barack Obama, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have received multiple warnings about what has become pretty blatant POV-pushing over a variety of articles related to Barack Obama, and blanking your talk page does not make the slightest bit of difference. If you continue in this vein, I will be filing a report against you at WP:ANI that will almost certainly result in a topic ban or block per the article probation rules that you are well aware of. A tag has been placed on J.A. Preston requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Frehley 23:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from J.A. Preston, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Frehley 00:07, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'd be glad to revert the deletion, but there isn't any substantive content. It runs the very real risk of being deleted again unless you can add some more info. Anyway, hang tight. Just be a moment. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:15, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
