Please respect Wikipedia's manual of style

[edit]

Hi, welcome. I have had to revert or correct many of your edits. I know they were made in good faith, but they are causing others to clean up after you.

Wikipedia:Manual of Style is extensive and detailed, containing many different documents about stylistic guidelines for articles. In particular, you have been changing the quotation style by moving punctuation inside the quotation, when that quotation did not include the puctuation. Wikipedia uses "logical quotation" style, regardless of the variety of English used in an article. See MOS:LQ for further guidance.

Be bold and keep making improvements. The policies and guidelines here are bewildering, and nobody expects you to be familiar with all of them at first. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:24, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
