I felt the list of Supreme Magi was also trivial, because it did not really add anything of substance to the article. None of them meet Wikipedia notability guidelines (which is a general problem with people who are only notable for being the head of a group, no matter how notable the group is). For example, let's look at Masonic Grand Lodges - a lot of them have articles, but for those GLs that don't offer life appointment to royalty (individuals who are already notable, BTW), there is very little value in listing Grand Masters. They generally change every year (with a few exceptions) and almost none of them are notable for anything else besides being Grand Master - other than that, they are regular everyday folks. The Grand Masters we know about in the US, for example, are people like Paul Revere, Ben Franklin, and Harry S Truman, who were generally known for other things.

Outside of policies, I also think that if one reads something in an article and thinks to oneself, "So?" that the information is of questionable value, and that's pretty much what I did. I don't know of what value it is to know who the current head of the body is, and even if it was someone famous, it would only be interesting as trivia.

Third, if we have one list, we would have to have every list, and some of the SRs are terribly convoluted. I researched this stuff when I created the article and still couldn't sort som,e of it out. MSJapan (talk) 17:17, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
