[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Parvati. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 03:02, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @SpacemanSpiff
- Dear Sir/Madam, I'd like to inquire about the specific content in Parvati that you're referencing. If it pertains to my most recent edit, I want to clarify that I haven't introduced any new material. Instead, I've reinstated components that have long been part of the article which were unnecessarily removed by 120.56.104.252 in the edit on March 4th. Feel free to compare the article prior to March 4th with my latest edit; you'll find it's simply a restoration. Thank You! Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 08:41, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Parvati is one such article. Wikipedia is an encylopaedia, not a religious blog for you to fill in whatever you wish. —SpacemanSpiff 08:43, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @SpacemanSpiff
- You're correct, but honestly, I've simply reinstated the content that had long been a part of Parvati but was removed on March 4th by someone else. You can compare my edit with the version of the article before March 4th. If I do add anything new, I'll be sure to provide proper references. Thank you! Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 08:52, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh please, don't think I can't read the history of the article, you're the one that's repeatedly adding stuff and changing things without any references. Fix the problems you create, this is NOT your personal blog. —SpacemanSpiff 09:03, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @SpacemanSpiff
- Why would I think that you can't read the history ?
- Regarding my latest edit where I restored some content -
- The Shloka "Sarva Mangal Mangalye" and the mention of "Days: Monday & Friday" were already in the article even before my first edit, I haven't added them. Similarly, the statement "In her complete form she is physical representation of..." was not added by me; these components were already present in the article before my first edit.
- All of these were deleted by someone on March 4th, and I simply restored them.
- In my previous edits, I added the Mahabhagavata Purana in the scriptures section. I acknowledge that I didn't provide a reference there—I was relatively new and still learning.
- However, in my latest edit, I haven't added anything new to the article. In the future, when I do add new content, I will ensure to provide proper references. Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 09:23, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Parvati, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Also Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, where information is added by providing reliable citations, you cannot add you orginal research or claim another user as "narrow minded". Seyamar(245CMR)💬📜 07:09, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Seyamar
- It's not me, you're acting as if you own the page. Everything you've mentioned should be a two-way street, right? You should also respect the work of fellow contributors. But what are you doing instead? You're removing stable content and replacing it with your own, which is not only disrespectful towards the deity but also hypocritical. Now you're saying everyone should respect others' contributions. Well, how about you start by respecting theirs first? Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 07:20, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Seyamar Reply #2
- See, I have no issue with your edits. You've made numerous other changes, and I haven’t reverted them. If you're contributing positively, no one will have a problem with it. Just stop disrespecting deities, that's all. Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 07:25, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have no intention of disrespecting anyone, rather add the history of deity along with belief. Its also important for u to understand that theology and philosophy evolved with humanity, deities loss and gained importance with time Seyamar(245CMR)💬📜 07:29, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
It doesn't mean that article can't be improved just because it has stayed that way. Also respecting your views, I have rephrased the lines, keeping what the article's body says.Seyamar(245CMR)💬📜 07:27, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Seyamar You have already rephrased the lines, thanks. I again want to clarify that I don't have any personal issues with your edits. I've reviewed several of your edits across different articles, and they are well done. I apologize for my harsh words and encourage you to keep up the good work! Thank you! Girīnandinī Nandana (talk) 07:38, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, I understand, but you don't realise how hurtful it is. You shouldn't have labelled me as "narrow-minded" and "disrespectful" without any discussion. If that were the case, I wouldn't have included anything about her theological importance and the vital role she plays in Shaiva and Shakta traditions. Furthermore, the content I added reflects the scholarly assessment of the deity, not my personal views, and it adheres to WP:RS. I placed it in the second paragraph in line with WP:MOS.
