Possible Conflict of Interest
[edit]If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Charles Ghigna, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Ghigna! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 156 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Debra Ghigna - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Chip Ghigna. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.
The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia. CAPTAIN RAJU (✉) 22:11, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Please remove the notice at the top of the listing in the box with the orange exclamation mark that is followed by "This article is an autobiography or has been extensively edited by the subject or by someone connected to the subject." Please feel free to edit the listing, if needed, to conform to the Wikipedia neutral point of view policy. Thank you! Ghigna (talk) 02:21, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- It's unclear what article this is referring to. Please make this request on the article's talk page. Thank you! spintendo 03:05, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
Thank you! Sorry to be so confused about how all this works. The article is referring to the listing "Charles Ghigna." Not sure how the article needs to be corrected, but would like to have the box removed from the top of the page. Thanks again.

The article Debra Ghigna has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't appear to meet WP:NAUTHOR.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cordless Larry (talk) 10:31, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop removing maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Charles Ghigna, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:36, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
- This issue isn't going to be resolved through you providing a few links. It requires the article to be rewritten by an editor who is not the article subject. If you have suggestions for how an independent editor could go about doing that, please make them on the article's talk page, but please stop removing the template. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:39, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
