You sure need to learn your history before creating and editing Wikipedia articles. You claim that Jim Stagg worked at WCFL in 1963 and credited his Beatles work to WCFL. The fact is that Jim Stagg did all these things while working at KYW in Cleveland, and did not work at WCFL before 1966. I have corrected your mistakes. -- Elaich talk 04:25, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
I was in error. Jim Stagg(s) certainly never worked at WCFL before late 1965. There is no aircheck evidence that he worked at WCFL before late 1965. The article you cite is erroneous, and was likely written by some fanboy newspaper writer. The exploits he ascribes to Stagg all occured at KYW - this is backed up by airchecks. WCFL did not become Top 40 until PD Ken Draper moved there from KYW in late 1965, and that is when Stagg and Runyon followed him.
Learn something - even newspaper articles are not always factual, especially in these days. Not only as an aircheck collector, but a person who was listening to the radio in those days, I can verify that Jim Stagg did NOT appear on WCFL before late fall/early 1966. Before then, he was on KYW. Why would WCFL, who was not even a rock station before then, care what the Beatles did in 1963? It just sounds like a case of wishful thinking by you, for whatever reason. -- Elaich talk 07:31, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe one should coalesce all the information before creating/massively editing an article???? I see no bad faith in you. What have I contributed? LOL, you should look at my contribs before making such a statement. Too bad, you locked into to one of my obsessions, which is WTAM/KYW/WKYC/WWWE radio in Cleveland. I can guarantee you that I know most of what went down with this station/stations, and I can guarantee you that Jim Stagg(s) wasn't working in Chicago before 1965. Actually, it was Jerry G. who was the legendary "5th Beatle" (out of many) and he didn't go to WCFL until January 1967. Stagg did the "Stagg Line" in both Cleveland and Chicago. Keep in mind that funeral mourners may remember much more about a person than he ever accomplished. -- Elaich talk 08:00, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

- I am not getting into a pissing contest with you over this. You keep adding incorrect information to Wikipedia, and then beg me not to delete it. The next time you add this false information, you will be flagged for vandalism. -- Elaich talk 08:07, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
