RIAA certifications

[edit]

Hello,
please make sure to always check the RIAA homepage before claiming that any album or single was certified. In the case of the Rihanna singles, your information is simply not true, per the RIAA database.
Regards, Amalthea 22:10, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dito on Run This Town, the source you added was about an unrelated artist, and the source that was already in the article clearly confirmed that it is certified Gold, not Double Platinum. Amalthea 22:14, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. As it turns out, practically all of your edits are blatantly incorrect, so much so that I believe this to be a deliberate attempt to introduce misinformation. This is, obviously, completely unacceptable. Amalthea 22:28, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I may have spoken too soon, for at least two article's you've changed I've now found conflicting sources. Could you please answer below and explain where you got the information from? Amalthea 22:53, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of On-Demand Songs, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.billboard.com/charts/on-demand-songs.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) VWBot (talk) 13:40, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mainstream Top 40 (Pop Songs), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fergie (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Streaming Songs

[edit]

I don't think it's necessary to add a top 10 category on Streaming Songs. The list is gonna be too long and it's not that much of an achievement since you don't need a whole lot of streams to be in the top 10. BrunzPOP (talk) 14:37, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay, I thought it was a user named Thevampireashlee, but now I know. Once again, thanks for the friendly explanation. Good night. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrunzPOP (talkcontribs) 00:42, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Adult Top 40 top 10 singles in 1997, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Seal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

An article you recently created, List of Adult Top 40 top 10 singles in 1995, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Ger-55. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of Adult Top 40 top 10 singles in 1995".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
