Hello Georges. You can also add direct links to the cited articles by adding |url=<your link> to the citation template. The identification and search for sources is easier to our readers. More at WP:REFBEGIN. Thanks. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 14:12, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Double linking for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Double linking is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Double linking until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

I'll add various other sources to this page to demonstrate that this notion is not an exotic one. GeorgesRomme (talk) 10:22, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just saw the page has already been deleted. Is this the "consensus" seeking mechanism we want at Wikipedia? NB: I'm a university professor with a full workload. I was invited on 2 April to add to this discussion here, but only get less than 3 weeks to find the time to do so? GeorgesRomme (talk) 10:26, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here are a bunch of publications on "double linking"; the first five by other authors, the last three I've written:
