A tag has been placed on PCI Media Impact, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". I can see that you are a new editor, but you need to know that Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article David Poindexter. I have removed the infringing text, but the material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. Thanks for the feedback; will keep in mind for the future to make the sentences as unique as possible. Gentle (talk) 10:51, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Halation-before-after-simulation-digital-imitation-film-highlight-rolloff.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Halation-before-after-simulation-digital-imitation-film-highlight-rolloff.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:30, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:StrivePoster 5-11-2019 alt-laurels.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:07, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Peasant, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Campesino (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 13:18, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One of your July 25 2019 edits to the Henry Wickham page appears to be incomplete. This is the text you inserted at the end of a sentence:

Is something supposed to come after the "to", or is the "to" itself superfluous?

Prodigium Pictures moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Prodigium Pictures, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CUPIDICAE💕 15:22, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you again for the guidance - I tried learning from people in the teahouse and made sure to remove anything that felt not reliable or independent, and resubmitted it through the official draft process! Gentle (talk) 02:27, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

Given your direct conflict of interest please refrain from editing articles directly where your COI applies and instead make edit requests as per WP:COI. CUPIDICAE💕 15:54, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you - I'll look into how to do this and will do that moving forward. Even many years later, there's still so much to learn on Wikipedia! Gentle (talk) 21:05, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Prodigium Pictures. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Thank you for the note! I studied up, visited the tea house and made sure to remove anything that felt unnecessary and took out all sources that had any connection with the organization. Gentle (talk) 02:26, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
