Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, GenesisGSE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:BADVOID, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:27, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@DoubleGrazing I was paid by BADVOID to write and create an article. No conflict of interest. GenesisGSE (talk) 01:26, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are 3 places where you can disclose. Your user page (not this user talk page), the draft talk page of BADVOID, or the edit summary. I suggest you move this disclosure to your user page. Jay 💬 07:04, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done, thank you @Jay GenesisGSE (talk) 02:14, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting, you say on one hand that you're a paid editor, on the other than you have no COI? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:19, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, yes I was paid and yes this is a conflict of interest @DoubleGrazing. GenesisGSE (talk) 20:09, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: BADVOID (May 21)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Sorry, but this has been twice rejected already (and also previously deleted following this AfD), therefore you don't just keep resubmitting until you get the answer you want. Your only recourse is to appeal to the rejecting reviewer. And before doing so, please respond to the COI query on your user talk page. Thank you.
