Request reason:

What exactly did I do wrong, I was simply making a post on the administrator's noticeboard about recent vandalism?

Decline reason:

As a new user I doubt this is the first place you want to contribute. Block seems valid. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:50, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Is there some reason this was your first edit? It seems very odd, and more than a little suspicious, unfortunately. – Luna Santin (talk) 23:41, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly does that matter? I was trying to warn about vandalism that could disrupt Wikipedia. Since when are people indef blocked for being "odd"? GdnsGracious 23:42, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This would be much more believable if it weren't your first-ever edit -- why would you even be aware of these things, if you haven't edited before? – Luna Santin (talk) 23:54, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I still can't see why this is grounds for an indef block per the blocking policy, but I guess it's easier just to register a new user name instead of pressing the issue here. I guess in the future I should just let vandalism pass without telling anyone, in order to avoid these problems. GdnsGracious 01:02, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
