Ooops...
Well, you went to remove vandalism, but you ended up causing more damage instead. Can you say "oops"? :) Tabercil (talk) 00:35, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oops. (lolz) Happens sometimes. (looks at large amount of material removed)
This new article has been tagged as orphaned but it has many links, on clicking 'what links here' only a few show, any ideas? Perhaps it takes time for the system to update/refresh. Thanks. Nimbus227 (talk) 18:07, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- An article is considered orphaned if it is not linked to by at least three pages in the article namespace. I only see one link. --Gawaxay (talk • contribs • count) 18:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, I see the problem, links from other articles not to (my slow brain!), will see if I can improve that but there won't be many, are you happy for the tag to be removed when the count has gone up as far as it can go?. Cheers Nimbus227 (talk) 18:53, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- When at least three articles link to it, feel free to remove the tag. --Gawaxay (talk • contribs • count) 19:02, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Great, it can be linked to quite a few articles thinking about it. Thanks. The tag worked well for highlighting this and I learned something. Nimbus227 (talk) 19:04, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Prod of Early life of Eliot Spitzer
Hello, I object to the Prod on the sub-article. There is a bunch of superfluous information about his religion, brothers/sisters, class rank, etc., that is interesting and/or encyclopedic, but does not need to be hilighted in the main article, which is cluttered enough. I think we've been getting too far away from FA guidelines. 50k is enough for the main piece, the stubs don't detract from it but contain enough information verified through third party sources to remain on their own, in my opinion. If you would like to send the article to AfD, you're more then welcome to. However I would request you seek out a WP:3O first since there seemed to be consensus for trimming the article. In the mean time, please remove the tag. Thank you. Mrprada911 (talk) 22:45, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ugh...I was in the middle of my Wikipediholism test! --Gawaxay (talk • contribs • count) 22:49, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. Apologies for disrupting the test. I listed the overall discussion about the stubs at WP:3O, so further discussion will likely take place on Talk:Eliot Spitzer. Mrprada911 (talk) 22:52, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

I've removed your posting to WP:AIV - the user's last block ended months ago. IP's change, so it's not necessarily the same person - a warning has been given for the edit on Crusades. Thanks. GBT/C 15:34, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I created this article using the 1909 article as the template and forgot to change the date. 1908 is correct year, as will be seen by clicking on linked ships. Mjroots (talk) 16:00, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Re Speedy deletion
You just sent my a Speedy Deletion notice for an archive page I made. I usually make a couple of future archive pages as Mizabot fills them up quickly. I have done this many times and it has never been questioned before. Further, I notice that other editors have empty archives on their pages, ready to be filled, and there is no problem for them in doing that. Is this a new rule or something? I have been doing this for two years and never had a Speedy Delete notice (or any notice) for a new archive page. Please enlighten. Thanks! Mattisse (Talk) 16:00, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- That particular archive page has no parentheses in it. (At least, I cannot see them.) Now some other empty archive pages do, but they have never been tagged. Please point out the parentheses to me on the page you tagged, as I must be blind. Regards, Mattisse (Talk) 16:16, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe I don't understand what parentheses are. Sincerely, Mattisse (Talk) 16:20, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello,
I have just created this page and have viewed your comments. I have worked on the article quite a bit and wanted to see what your thoughts were on it now.

Message from User:Average Citizen (moved from user page)
I am Average Citizen.
I am learning to edit wikipedia.
Thank you.
I noticed that you requested speedy deletion of User:Kid Evil 1/Censor as a user request under WP:CSD U1. However, that only applies when the requestor is the person whose userspace the page is in. If you actually are User:Kid Evil 1, please submit your request while logged in from that account. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
correct speedy reasons
When an editor blanks a page of which he is a soleauthor, the correct deletion tag is db-self, not db-empty (as was the case for Morag Belingham--I think you forgot to check the page history). just a friendly note. DGG (talk) 01:15, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
