Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Important items to note:

  • The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
    • You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
  • The new username you choose cannot already be taken and used by another account. You can search here to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns, "There is no global account for [username]", that means it is available.

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Euryalus (talk) 11:59, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

is closed. @Euryalus: Not sure correcting the info was promotional. @Gaurs Marketing: Due to your WP:conflict of interest and the WP:PAID nature of your edits, you should not edit about this company directly. Instead, you should discuss content and sourcing on the talk page of the article. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:51, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Deepfriedokra: You may be right. I've replaced the template with the softerblock one as the name will still need changing. And of course you are correct re COI.
@Gaurs Marketing: apologies for the wrong template - I have posted a new one above. Per the (new) template above you will need to request a rename as accounts must be associated with individuals and not job titles or business groups. There are instructions for how to do so in the template. Deepfriedokra has also given some good advice on not directly editing articles with which you have a conflict of interest. If you go ahead with a rename and indicate you understand the issue regarding conflict of interest, it is likely this account can be unblocked. -- Euryalus (talk) 12:06, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gaurs Marketing: Annnnd, if you tell us your new username request here, I can rename you without a lot of rigmarole. Thanks! -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:39, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first pages you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that page.

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you've had a new article rejected or deleted, new article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chatAgain, welcome! -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:51, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
