My understanding is that IELTS, whilst understandably using British, Canadian and Australian variances of English as its base, holds no particular bias as to which variance students use when answering questions. Indeed, the last meeting I attended held by the exam authority highlighted that changes would be made to reflect a more international standard. Mattthac 11:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
