Is this a bug in the nominations viewer?
Sometimes reviewers put their supports in a header. This doesn't show up in the nominations viewer. Curly Turkey (gobble) 23:40, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- If they do that, then yeah, the script doesn't recognize that, at least not as far as I can remember (I haven't touched the code in ages). I thought it was always encouraged for people to put their "votes" in the standard format (bolded text, bulleted) so that it's easy for the delegates to skim through? Hmm, your rename crashed
As such all your pages might not have moved properly. –xenotalk 22:27, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oh my god a lot of things broke eh? Whelp, time for me to get moving. At least this only has to be done once. Gary King (talk · scripts) 03:57, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yes indeed!. Some helpful folks at WP:VPT suggested importing the scripts in the old 'Gary King' user space from their new locations. –xenotalk 05:38, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think I will just import the ones that other people use. Most of my scripts are just used by myself (as far as I know). Also, any way for me to determine which pages were not moved properly? At a quick glance with Special:PrefixIndex, it looks like most things were moved. Might be one or two missing pages. Gary King (talk · scripts) 05:45, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- not off the top of my head.. They might have all moved properly, it's just you have so many edits that the rename kinda hung and didn't give me the success page. –xenotalk 14:12, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

- I just noticed that some of my archive pages didn't move, so I guess there might be others. Gary (talk · scripts) 16:39, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Load the prefixindices into AWB and compare lists? –xenotalk 16:43, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Cool, didn't know it did that. I'll have to check that out. Gary (talk · scripts) 05:47, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
- Pardon me, not meaning to butt in here if I'm not welcome. You may be entirely satisfied with where your move stands now.
- I was browsing the scripts on WP:JS and noticed User:Gary King/smaller templates.js and User:Gary King/subjects age from year.js were redlinked. You might want to use the importScript workaround, since each has a few (~5) followers that use it. The third script on the page is okay, btw.
Also, any way for me to determine which pages were not moved properly? At a quick glance with Special:PrefixIndex, it looks like most things were moved. Might be one or two missing pages.
- I tested a PrefixIndex search, but (after realizing JS and CSS wouldn't carry over as redirects) refined the search to see only non-redirects. Strangely, neither of the searches yielded any "broken" scripts, only ones fixed with the importScript hack.
- Digging deeper, I noticed they cannot be found by an AllPages search nor by the Deletion Log, effectively becoming empty listings.
- I found success with the move log with Xeno specified as the performer, and tweaked the display settings to display only your 213 moves and then the 167 in the user namespace (all the archives appear fine according to the system records for some reason). Of the 167, I found 87 currently broken (or, at the very least redlinked and most likely broken).
- Isn't there an automated script to add it to every page?...
- Feel free to just disregard it entirely if you like. 87 may sound alarming, but all it means it that they won't link properly using their old names. You probably don't need to change, say, your old CSS style page.
- Your do might want to change your editintro, though—not sure if you realize it still says Gary King. meteor_sandwich_yum (talk) 02:22, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, I added importScript to the two scripts, and fixed my Editnotice. I don't think I'll be redirecting those 87 scripts. I just redirected the ones I think were most popular (Comments in Local Time and Nominations Viewer primarily); I've got a handful that have 5 to 10 users, and I tried my best to redirect those, but I might have missed one or two. Thank you for quality articles, such as strategy video game The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II and chemical Noble gas, for featured lists (Awards of The White Stripes) and topics (Lists of universities in Canada), for creating templates, reviewing ... - you name it, in more than 1.000.000 edits, - repeating: you are an awesome Wikipedian (14 March 2009, 27 June 2009)!

Today's Featured List
Hi Gary,
You have done a great job in getting so many articles up to featured status. I thought you might be interested to know that I have had another of your featured lists scheduled for a main page slot; List of mergers and acquisitions by Apple is scheduled for June 9th. I was considering nominating List of wealthiest charitable foundations for a main page slot as well, but I noticed that some issues have been raised on its talk page about the currency of the sources used. Do you know how to resolve these issues? If you have time, your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

- Thanks for letting me know. I don't have time to work on the list these days though, sorry. Gary (talk · scripts) 18:14, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
