For your amazing contribution to the list. Just gently and slowly, (no rush or compulsion at this stage) it will be good if we can also find WP:RS for the items - as adding text to anything is subserviant to WP:V and WP:RS, otherwise it can be seen as WP:OR - which is why this is an online encyclopedia viz verifiability to 3rd party sources... It seems odd that I should welcome you in 2012 and harass you in 2018... but seriously - over time where we can add trove refs or links to the heritage register(s) to the items - the viability of the added material just gets that better ooomph. And credibility. Thank you very much for putting the time into add the material - it is very valuable - and for editors who dont know if york is in tumbucktoo, or lower hutt (unfortunately being a wikipedia editor does not give anyone any powers to undo their geographically challenged states of mind) - the added text does give the extra value for a search in trove under variable terms. Hopefully will have the opportunity to meet sometime - cheers for the moment and thanks so much for all the effort. JarrahTree 08:19, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited York Town Hall, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romanesque (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm Abelmoschus Esculentus. I noticed that you made a change to an article, York,_Western_Australia, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 02:35, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to St Patrick's Catholic Church, York. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! • @Gartonsmith: That diary entry you added a few hours ago is a great find! (I made two minor changes to the text that I hope are OK with you?) I find Giustiniani's story fascinating. Do you have a reference for the diary entry? I’m happy to format it, just need to have the details. Betterkeks (talk) 02:20, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
