Appears to be copied from Stanford News

[edit]

Hello, Gariel B. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, including edits to Identity and language learning. I undid one of those edits, though, as it appears to be copied from an article in Stanford News. Copying content from sources may violate Wikipedia policy on copyright, as described at Wikipedia:Copyright violations.

I think that H. Samy Alim's work on identity and language should be included in that article. It appears to me, though, that the sentence you inserted was written not by Professor Alim but by the journalist who interviewed him.

Thank you again for your contributions, and happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 05:07, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
