Information Security Managment
[edit]After careful evaluation I considered to edit the Wikipedia article on Information Security Management. The issues with this article that it does not contain references or sources to be cited. The information in the article is not reliable and very bland in nature. I plan top add five more resources that are related to this article that non-Wikipedia. My plan is to incorporate those sources to make the article more reliable and trustworthy in nature. I would like to add to the article material that gives a general broad term of what information security management really means. Second I would like indicate how information security management is used in different industries. Third, I would like to for this article to indicate what the main purpose of information security management involves. At this moment I have not edited the article yet to get feed back on it but still in the process of putting it together(17:20, 1 November 2011 (UTC)). Update on Wikipedia Project
[edit]I have added some links to the Information Security Management page. My intent was not to publish it but to learn how to work with Wikipedia for my school project. By trial and error I was able to figure out how to get some links for resources and add other wikipedia pages to it. I am a little confuse by wiki proofing and how that works. This project is not due until 20111130 and I would like some type of pointers to wikify it. After this semester I will probably will not get back into editing a Wikipedia page until next fall but would like to still work on this page to gain knowledge of it. It has been a challenge working with wikipedia. 02:58, 29 November 2011 (UTC) Garciajy97 (talk)
It is good to see text added and some more references. But many of the sections still have no reference indicated. It is OK to use the same reference for multiple sections. You can use the <ref name="refname"/> type tag to reuse a reference. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:40, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Information Security Management Update
[edit]I have added a couple more references and and some external links. Now from the suggestion from the ambassador. I need to reference all the points that come from the same sources. See if I can make this work. (Garciajy97 (talk) 04:03, 30 November 2011 (UTC))
