Dates

Hi. I saw your edit here to Grok. Our Manual of Style for dates recommends against linking to years in articles unless it's particularly relevant, i.e. will help the understanding of the current article in some way. For example, a music article might say "released in 1961 (see 1961 in music)". Wikilinking to full dates is recommended because the reader can localize the style with user settings, e.g. [[April 4]] [[2007]] will appear as "April 4, 2007" to American readers and "4 April 2007" to European readers. Hanuman foundation

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Hanuman foundation, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Editing your own comments

I thought it was a bit odd to see a couple paragraphs removed from the Ram Dass talk page. In the future, see WP's guidelines on editing your own talk page comments. Since there were no replies to your statement, it doesn't seem to matter much. However, the original form wasn't disturbing in any way. Since you may be quoted elsewhere, or, in this case, since you have provided interesting information that others may want to find again sometime, it's usually best practice to leave comments up. If a talk page ever grows unwieldly, it can be archived in a number of ways, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about any comments being "too long" or irrelevant. — gogobera (talk) 20:47, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
