Bodhisattva vows[edit]

The Bodhisattva vows article implicitly suggests that the table of four vows is universal to all Mahayana Buddhism, but this is not the case - could you please indicate which particular Mahayana schools use those four vows? For instance, the Indo-Tibetan tradition rely upon 18 root and 46 secondary Bodhisattva vows, which are derived from Asanga/Maitreya - and IIRC some traditions have merely the single vow - to become a samyaksam buddha for the benefit of all. I would like to add to the article, but as I don't know much about the context of the current text, I would not really know how to add to it without making a mistake(20040302 22:35, 14 December 2005 (UTC))[reply]

...Thank-you very much, Gakuro. (20040302)

Change to Common.css[edit]

Per recent discussions, the way in which Persondata is viewed by Wikipedia editors has changed. In order to continue viewing Persondata in Wikipedia articles, please edit your user CSS file to display table.persondata rather than table.metadata. More specific instructions can be found on the Persondata page. --ShakingSpirittalk on behalf of Kaldari 01:03, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Chankhong.jpg[edit]

You asked: "What made you kick out my picture from the article? Eager to learn. Metta and happiness for you."

At the time (about 2 months ago), the image had no copyright information on it. This has been corrected, so it's not an issue now and I've added it back into the article. Thanks for asking, and thanks for adding this nice picture. Nightngle 14:17, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ostarrîchi[edit]

Please have a look at Talk:Ostarrîchi. The slavonic etymology is not clear to me. Thank you --Austrian (talk) 21:59, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Human-Cosmic Calendar[edit]

Hello Gakuro,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Human-Cosmic Calendar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Gareth E Kegg (talk) 18:19, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
