A tag has been placed on Marit Aarum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gertrud Åström, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page SOU (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Orphaned non-free image File:NAWR logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:NAWR logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:51, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Before removing cleanup templates

[edit]

It would be helpful if, before removing cleanup templates as you did in this edit, you resolved the problems the templates refer to. A bio blurb from a related organisation and a couple directory-type passing mentions do not constitute the significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable, secondary sources that is needed to demonstrate notability. It would be more constructive to either add sufficient sources, or leave the templates to alert other editors to improve the article. --Worldbruce (talk) 03:21, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea of what you are talking about. The template was frivolous (a Permanent U.N. Representative, President of the UNICEF Executive Board and even President of the U.N. General Assembly is obviously notable), and I added another source with a biography. I find your description of official U.N. sources as "related organisation(s)" to be quite odd. You should familiarize yourself with our concepts of notability and reliable sources before you go around adding tags. --Gaduse (talk) 09:23, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Protestant Germanic Europe

[edit]

I noticed that the terms on the Northwestern Europe page are loose as well. So the only connecting theory I could make out was this:

Protestant Europe

You might be happy to know that the mentioned term very clearly puts Norway in the region you'd like it to be in. The other region would be Finnic Protestantism. Latvia would be the only country under Baltic Protestantism. Lithuania would not fit in that formula at all. Blomsterhagens (talk) 12:22, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
