Most of the students who is schooling at Epato combined school are failing because they are affected by this flood. Normally this school use to be closed during the rain season due to heavy floods that use to be in this village.

Even though people are affected by the flood most of them they usually benefit from this flood, their animals use to survive during summer season because usually there is no lack of water in this village. Floods designate rich sediment and energize streams.Floods allow rivers and streams to run-off their banks naturally, which can avert more serious flooding downstream. Parks, open space and wetlands provide natural security from flooding, letting water to spread over a large area and cause tiny or no damage.Floods return nutrients to the land and add to the health of wetlands. These areas are substantial for filtering water and air quality, replenishing groundwater resources, and supporting wildlife and aquatic environments.

Some people also use to get their foods in this flood water. foods are like Fish, Frogs, Tortoise and many other foods. In Olundjinda most of the shebeens, houses and mahangu used to flooded over the road overflowed by the flood and there was a possibility that the road was about to be flooded also. when would Road authority will put more effords on this bridge of Olundjinda? because every year this bridge have to be renovated so that it cannot flooded during rain season [1] [2]
