Viren Peer Review Notes 11/4/2022

[edit]

What does the article (or section) do well?

There is a clear structure that the article follows, and I also like how the materials are listed in table so they are easy to read and distinguish.

What changes would you suggest overall?

Maybe add a section about what specific parts people would rather make in a binder-jetting 3d print rather than a different one. Also, adding some pictures of some finished 3d prints that were made using the technique, as well as maybe a diagram that shows how it works would be nice as well. Also, a link to something about what the "sintering stage" is, or a mention about why all the loose powder needs to be removed prior to that stage.

What is the most important thing that the author could do to improve his/her contribution?

I think good pictures can always help with Wikipedia articles, since it can make things a lot more clear at times.

Did you glean anything from your classmate's work that could be applicable to your own? If so, let him/her know!

The breakdown into smaller sections, and the sheer number of links to other Wikipedia articles is helpful, and I'll definitely try to add that to mine. Vpatel225 (talk) 18:08, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What does the article (or section) do well? Organized well with proper headings. Process was very parseable and easy to understand for a layperson.

What changes would you suggest overall?

- I would link binder to the wikipedia article in the line " depositing a liquid binder" - " is in essence very similar" feels a little casual - "all loose powder is removed, as the next step in the process is the sintering stage." Could you explain why removing all powder is important in regards to sintering? - "Major challenges to removing " Is it a challenge or reasons to remove it? - Consider adding wikipedia article links to the materials. - It would be good to have statistical information and comparisons for advantages What is the most important thing that the author could do to improve his/her contribution?

Also in support of pictures for the article

Did you glean anything from your classmate's work that could be applicable to your own? If so, let him/her know! - Going to be adding wikipedia article links to my page
