Speedy deletion of "Militia Information Service"

[edit]

A page you created, Militia Information Service, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:25, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Militia Information Service has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no independent third party reliable references to support claims of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nick-D (talk) 06:14, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

3RR Warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Same-sex marriage. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dayewalker (talk) 04:03, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to have violated the WP:3RR policy at Same-sex marriage with your latest edit. As your edit is still the last one, please self-revert, or you will likely be blocked soon. Kuru (talk) 17:06, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you didn't know this

[edit]
  • ...but the fact is that if you make four reverts or more on any page on Wikipedia in a period of 24 hours and it seems like you are edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. That is 3RR Now, you've already done four reverts on Same-sex marriage. Any administrator including I could have blocked you for that. You're treading on thin ice right now. My advice is, stop editing the article for some time (maybe a day or two) then start editing with care, taking your discussions to the talk page. It helps other editors in understanding you. Please write to me for any clarification or assistance. Wifione ....... Leave a message 17:08, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
