Now you're gonna kill me :-) Where did I read that you translate — presumably Portuguese, which means you can do Spanish and Italian, sorta ? Someone has questioned the translation of the official name of the act referred to colloquially as The Carmona Decree, and you can probably do MUCH better than I did. Time for one more? I try to stay away from Chavez articles (too painful, especially today), but I saw a question was raised on the talk page, and I'm no translator. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:29, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Fv — another set of eyes helps, and those terms should be fairly similar. I really appreciate it, although it's a hard news day in our house. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
I fended on my own in Sao Paulo for a month, and in Portugal for two weeks; if my Spanish works in Portuguese, your Portuguese will work in Spanish ! The world is no farther away than those we hold in our hearts and can no longer travel to visit. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:45, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia is a big place
Yeah, I've done mostly stuff in various biology bits and pieces and tended to avoid psychiatry thus far but I'm moving around....lemme know when yer running...cheers, Cas Liber | talk | contribs20:36, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
PS: I'll be sticking this on FAC soon (probably this week), so let us know if you see anything remiss..or come and vote! cheers, Cas Liber | talk | contribs21:54, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the space filling image of the lorazepam molecule. When printing the article, the grey (carbon) bits in the middle are too close in their shade, and come out as entirely black on an inkjet printer. Would it be possible to lighten up the grey bits or to give them some texture?
Also, I've slightly untidied your tidy work re links - further links have been added the old way and now there are double numbers. When you have time, would you wiki-ise them too? Petlif05:55, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Yup. Looks great! Just call the shot, and we'll pull the trigger. I'm on call this w/e so e-mail me and I'll put it up when I can -- Samir06:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
If you can't get hold of Samir, leave me a note and I'll put it live and fill in the usuals. I'll be around the weekend on-and-off - Alison☺06:43, 2 June 2007 (UTC) (heh - so much for the wikibreak :) )
Thank you both—looks great :) Feel free to pull the trigger whenever you're ready (that goes for both of you!) Looks like you'll both be busy over the weekend, so anywhere between now and Monday will be fine ;) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 15:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
If you were referring to the upside-down statement, then yeah, I removed that because I thought it redundant. If you were referring to the upper caption, I changed that because "Alternate cover" is the de-facto standard for alternate covers. (We really should codify that...) Have a nice day. --PEJL19:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Well, it would be a serious conflict of interest if I should do it myself, don't you think? If everyone's in such a hurry, you may want to give Allie a nod and ask her to do it ;) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:15, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for dealing with the SVG, your Support would be welcome, but as you say, there is probably enough in the way of feedback! :) TimVickers16:31, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
No problem. I've been watching the article's evolution (badump-bump) from afar... As you can see above, I'm a bit busy :) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:33, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
RfA Q4
I hope I'm inferring correctly on this. By saying "simple", do you mean an edit war that's over some little issue that really isn't beneficial for the article? There are a number of instances where users just like to piss each other off, and it would be best to warn them instead of protecting, but then there are other cases where the users are calling each other names, but are fighting over something worth merit in the article. If that's the "simple" you're referring to, then I would agree. I just want to clarify that bit up because I might not be the only one who is not entirely sure about what you said there. Thanks, and sorry for bugging you about this issue so much :-P. Nishkid64 (talk)17:51, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Ahem. Another Optional (followup) question. (I'll prolly keep on asking if you keep on answering) - TwoOars19:50, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Diagrams
Hi and thanks for the welcome. Hope I can ask you an ontopic question since you have an interest in chemistry articles. I am collecting stuff for a new article on a chemical compound, and would like to add a structural diagram too. Do you know any free software which can generate these, preferably in the same style that most wikipedia images use? (I've tried downloading a trial version of ChemDraw but it wouldn't even install.) Thanks! PXE-M0F21:36, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Wasn't around much on the weekend, but I see that Phaedriel transcluded the RfA. Good luck Fvasconcellos! -- Samir06:51, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Tenofovir
Could you take a look at the Tenofovir page? There are two pictures Tenofovir in the infobox and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate under the box. I tried to get them both in the box, but couldn't figure out how to get separate captions. Thanks G71615:52, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi there, thanks for the welcome. I'm going to be very active here, as I have to tell the world about a magnetic antigravity motor that runs on homeopathic gasoline. The fools told me it could never be built, but I proved them wrong A THOUSAND TIMES OVER!!!!!!!!! TimVickers16:05, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
MoS
Hi Fvas
It's very kind of you to make that comment. I think a lot of key text in a wiki needs to be overhauled periodically to get rid of the fluff and bloat that is inevitable in committee writing. It's made easier by the little resistance from MoS people, although there's certainly enough activity about dashes (and a spat brewing with the main article people!). I'm about to replace the problematic Sino–Soviet diplomacy (?should be hyphen) to 3–2 decision of the Supreme Court. Tony14:54, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations. Well-deserved, and I'm sure you'll do a great job. Please let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to block me for practice. (just kidding about the last part). MastCellTalk16:35, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Eh Mastcell ? - surely the "just kidding" is not the "last part" of "for practice", but instead should be the "penultinate part" of "feel free to block me" :-) Anyway well done David RubenTalk17:04, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Well .... I'm absolutely delighted your RfA passed so spectacularly. Enjoy the new buttons - they're useful, and welcome to the team of admins. You'll do an awesome job :) - Alison☺17:34, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Yes, totally satisfactory :). And you were quite a diplomat. Please do check if your admin bits and pieces are working (by deleting the main page, blocking Jimbo and protecting... ahem. enough said.)- TwoOars17:41, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi Fvasconcellos, I am really happy to see your promotion to admin - I think Wikipedia will benefit a lot from it. Thank you for agreeing to help us - we need every good person we can get. Good luck, and feel free to contact me if you need any help. Crum37518:00, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Away we go!Congratulations! *jumping up and down wildly* And thanks for the beautiful senryū, I shall treasure it :) If you need any help, feel free to give me a whistle and I'll try my best. Take care FV :) Riana⁂18:04, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
If I make 5 nonsense edits to your page one after the other, if you click rollback, it'll go back to the last version before my edits. I'd forgotten that normal scripts don't do that, and my reverts lately have been decidedly amateurish :) As for the knuckle-cracking, that's wonderful! Good luck with the 'why did you deleet my articlez?!!!' ;) Riana⁂18:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Goodness, Fv, I'm sorry to see that almost no one on Wikipedia likes you :-) And you didn't have a "tiny part" in the success of TS—you're a BIG part of that article's integrity, and I'm glad you like it. Congratulations !! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Sandy. I'm glad I've been able to help on such a great article, and yes, it is one of my favorites :) Now, what's this? (*sip* *sip*) (gets drunk, deletes Main Page, goes on block spree) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 19:47, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi Fvasconcellos! Congratulations on your successful RfA. I have no doubts that you will be a great administrator for the project. Becoming an administrator at first is difficult, but I am assured that you will handle all situations correctly. Congratulations again, Fvasconcellos! ;) –Sebi ~22:14, 10 June 2007 (UTC) It appears I have a bit of a late reply... oh well. Congrats again Fvas! ;)
Congrats and a firm yes, you did answer my question exceptionally well (and thanks for answering it anyway)! Best regards, —AldeBaer 15:03, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Me too, me too! I'm sorry that I missed out on making it "77", but I'm glad that the mantle of adminship went to such a stellar editor and good-natured person as you are. Let me know if I can help out! :) With kind wishes, Willow16:28, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Please also accept my (somewhat late) congratulations. I found your response to Q5 to be simply exceptional and was thus happy to support you. Best of luck, Black Falcon(Talk)20:33, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations. Here are what pass for words of wisdom from the puppy:
Remember you must always follow the rules, except for when you ignore them. You will always pick the wrong one to do. (See #5)
Remember to assume good faith and not bite. Remember that when you are applying these principles most diligently, you are probably dealing with a troll.
Use the block ability sparingly. Enjoy the insults you receive when you do block.
I changed the title to Traiteur (culinary profession) which makes more sense, thanks for the suggestion. I agree it should be expanded, but I felt for the short term it should be pulled out of the Traiteur article in which it made no sense to be in as it is about a Cajun cultural healer.--Christopher Tanner, CCC20:04, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Sarah Trimmer image
Thank you for fixing the Sarah Trimmer image. I am still confused about the image syntax, though. When I went to the page today, it said "SarahTrimmer.jpg" in the infobox but no picture appeared. I then wrote [[Image:SarahTrimmer.jpg]] and the image appeared, but with the line of code behind it. When "SarahTrimmer.jpg" is used, does it require an image size as you have included? When to cite
This page concerns me;[1] I don't know how to write up examples (also leaving note to Colin and Tim Vickers, as they may know how to get started on this). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:23, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
5 days of adminship and ~250 deletions. Rabid deletionist rouge admin much? ;) Glad to see you clearing the backlogs :) Riana⁂15:52, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Just go with your gut. You should be right, I think. Try not to be too heavy-handed, I think, that's the name of the game. Riana⁂16:17, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey, it appears that you deleted my page on Inner Sanctum Records and I want it back. This bleeding bureaucracy is absurd. The Inner Sanctum page was a historical document and not a f*&^ing advertisement which you would have noticed had you bothered to read it. Inner Sanctum hasn't existed in ~20 years but was of great importance when it did. So, gimme the page back. And yeah, I could have written this in portugues but didn't figure you, with all your stars were worth it. Give it back! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krome (talk • contribs) 02:34, 17 June 2007
Entao, I can't replicate the page because, while I started it it was extensively edited by some people with more knowledge than I have(which just goes to show that I am not the only one interested).
Is there no copy of the page left? Did you really just delete that singular piece of work? I mean I can maybe get the contributors to write it again but it won't be the same.
Krome
If you would please put the page somewhere I can work on it I would appreciate it. There are others interested in keeping it up and between us I think we can establish why it should be available. Muito obrigado and I promise to stop calling names.
And BTW, if you take a look at the page, you will notice that there are mentioned quite a number of bands/musicians who played at the record store before they were well known and they HAVE WIKI PAGES. I mean why isn't the Big Boys page deleted? Do you think they would even have a page without Inner Sanctum? Probably not.
By all means - I shamelessly copied the code from someone else's page. Can't remember who now, but I asked them and they never responded, which I took to mean yes. Natalie06:13, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks very much for wishing me happy birthday! I had a great day - well, it could have been better, I spent all day studying for an exam! But let's concentrate on the positives, hmmm? :) My friends got me a great cake, a lot like this one, and since you've been so kind, I saved you a piece. Hope you enjoy it, and the rest of your day :) Riana(talk)10:47, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey FV! At the time I was too tired to check out whether it was a copyvio, but I think for safety's sake we should delete it and restore it as a stub. I'll do so now if you like Riana(talk)15:26, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey FV, as a Political Scientist, I was only adding facts to the Republican Debate section. The previous information contained untrue opinions provided by Democrats who vandalized that page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.229.60.118 (talk • contribs) 15:38, 23 June 2007
