[edit]

Good to hear from it- there is actually a group called article rescue or something who's job it is to try and clean up and fix articles that have been nominated for deletion, you would probably be very helpful there. good luck editing

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Smart Mobility, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:40, 30 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Smart Mobility

[edit]

Hello, Fthobe. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Smart Mobility".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Smart Mobility}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 06:00, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sections in AfD discussions

[edit]

Hello Fthobe.

Please don't use sections in AfD discussions like you did on the discussion page regarding Takahiro Yoshikawa (discussion| rmv).

Thank you. - Flori4nKT A L K 14:22, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Flori4nK: Hey Flori4anK, unfortunately the process of commenting proposed deletes is not really well documented for first time users. Can you take a look on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Takahiro Yoshikawa and tell me if I did better?Fthobe (talk) 14:30, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Fthobe.
It's recommended to start your addition to a discussion with a bullet point (use *) and, if applicable, a !vote Wikipedia:Guide_to_deletion#Recommendations_and_outcomes. Here are some (unsigned) examples:
  • Keep: Clearly notable, I found significant coverage in several independent reliable sources. See: <Sources>
  • Delete: I couldn't find any significant coverage, doesn't seem to be notable.
  • Comment: <Something you'd like other participants to know>.
You can learn more about formatting at WP:AFDFORMAT.
Thanks for reaching out! - Flori4nKT A L K

Hello Fthobe. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Fthobe. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Fthobe|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 15:36, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Praxidicae:Hey, I don£t have any commercial, social or other conflict of interest on music. For transparency I have added all possible conflicts of interest on my user page and will indicate them appropriately wherever I edit something. It's my first article and I tried to be precise as I could but made a mistake regarding the picture I used and my interpretation of fair use application on Wikipedia. Know I know that Fair use doesn't apply here. Fthobe (talk) 21:51, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Signing your messages

[edit]

This is meant to be friendly, helpful advice, and not stern admonition, but please, please sign your messages (at your talk page, at my talk page, at discussion pages such as the Article for Deletion. You do this by typing four tilde at the end of your message "~~~~" That is code which will automatically give your name and the time at which you left your message. (One never signs contributions in article space, of course!) It really helps facilitate communication here. Let me know if you have any trouble. Thanks, and all the best, 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 02:38, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey {ping:78.26}, I saw there are ways to sign automatically, but the documentation is wary. How does that work? Fthobe (talk) 09:12, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop pinging me

[edit]

Do not ping me again. Hassling !voters on an AfD will not help your cause. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:04, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
