Important Please Note

[edit]

I have had a look at some of the edits by this Editor, and as far as I can see, they are NOT vandalism. This is the dogs name - Nigger (dog) - A Historical Fact. There are no racial tones here and the dog was greatly loved by his master. Both Dog and Master are famous. --BSTemple (talk) 08:48, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It seems to be a knee jerk reaction to revert the addition of the link without bothering to look and see if the link might be valid. I have struck out the warnings above, and you should feel free to remove them at any time. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 16:30, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page User:Jimbo Wales has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. -- Mentifisto 22:47, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User talk:Jimbo Wales. Versus22 talk 22:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 55 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for edit-warring, violation of WP:3RR, block evasion, continued personal attacks. Proposed deletion of Drummer Dick's Discharge

[edit]

The article Drummer Dick's Discharge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NBOOK or WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
