Welcome!

Hello Frontleft, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Your edit to Joseph Kony was right on - an edit to the article itself, followed by an explanation on the talk page to explain your reasoning, just in case. Woodside Priory School

[edit]

I deleted your addition to the Woodside Priory School article as a violation of copyright. I found the text, with a clear copyright notice, at http://www.wbsa.net/schools/school_detail.cfm?id=26. Only public domain resources can be copied exactly.

The text that you added was promotional material, which is why someone added the POV tag. Instead, you should work on adding facts, such as the # of students, the date the school was founded, notable alumni, etc. You can visit the Schools WikiProject for help and suggestions. Finding a well-written school article can also help as a guideline for what to add to the Woodside Priory School article. BlankVerse 16:34, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here's corrected link to the the school watch project which monitors the progress of articles on schools. User:AlMac|(talk) 00:26, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About my editions (RB)

[edit]

I'm not quite sure whether this is the place, but the assignment asked us to "justify" our editions in the Talk page. I revised the entry on bicycle racing because the original one seemed a bit confusing and unhelpful. I tried to keep it a relatively brief overview, as there are already other pages on the various particular types of bicycle racing. I also added a small edit to the cyclocross section concerning equipment that is relatively unique to that sport.

bicycle interest

[edit]

Note that each and every article has an associated talk page. Perhaps you should ask the professor if the assignment meant the talk page of the article you updated, or a page associated with you user group on Wikipedia Wiki or Cyberlaw Wiki. User:AlMac|(talk) 00:28, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you had an interest here, that might also lead you to at least want to check out the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timeline of Motorized bicycle history which did not get deleted because there was no consensus to do so. This shows you that articles that not measure up to some Wiki standards can get nominated for deletion, then there is a process to decide whether or not to do so, which includes pros & cons of the article in question. Perhaps if you can identify the ISBN #s of the books about her, and identify those, you will have links that would be more useful. Just a thought. User:AlMac|(talk) 02:54, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
